John J. Tranchida* – President, Van Dyk Financial Services.

John has a BS in finance from Rider University and also successfully completed the educational requirement for certification with Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc..  He has been in the insurance and financial services industry for nearly 20 years and is a licensed Life and Health insurance producer in NJ, NY, PA, FL & CT. John is a qualified member of the Million Dollar Round Table, Achieved Leaders Status, and Horizon’s Select Producer Health Insurance Program, each an achievement obtained only by the top producers nationwide. John holds a Series 6 license, is a member of American Funds exclusive “All American Team”, and has access to several top mutual fund companies through his Broker/Dealer to serve his client’s investment needs*. John is involved civically as well, where he served as the Long Beach Island Rotary President from 1998-1999. He chairs one of their main fund raisers each year, and received the distinguished honor of being a Paul Harris fellow.

Jim attended The South Jersey Professional School of Business & Rowan University. He has been in the insurance business for over 20 years. Jim achieved recognition as the top salesperson for Selective HR Solutions Human Resources packages five years running. Jim also sits on the AlphaStaff Broker Advisory Council for the PEO (Professional Employer Organization) Human Resource Outsourcing program. Before joining the Van Dyk Group, he was the Northeast Regional Director for a large chain of consumer retail stores; overseeing over 20 locations and hundreds of employees. Jim’s insight of both Human Resource issues and business experience gives our clients a unique perspective for determining the right insurance programs for each individual situation. Jim frequently gives seminars educating employers on the “in & outs” of human resource and insurance matters.

Robert G. Devanna – Sales and Service, Van Dyk Group Health

Robert has a Bachelors Degree in Economics from Rutgers University and has been in the insurance industry since 2004. Before joining Van Dyk Financial Services, Robert worked for The Van Dyk Group in the Commercial Insurance Department where he was involved in both sales and service. Licensed in Health, Life, Property and CasualtyInsurance, his knowledge of both Commercial Insurance and Financial Services give him a perspective that is unique in the industry. Robert specializes in health insurance and works with over 100 small business and individual accounts. He is also an active member of the Southern Ocean County Chamber of Commerce and a Charter Member of The Barnegat Township Rotary Club.

Coleen Knott – Health Benefits Manager

Coleen joined Van Dyk Financial Services in January 2000 although she brings almost 20 years of experience in the industry with her. Coleen’s specialty is the area of group health insurance. She was previously employed by John J. Cleary, CLU, CHFC one of the area’s top insurance professionals where she was exposed to all aspects of the financial services industry. Clientele have frequently complimented Coleen on her dedication, caring and the professional manner in which she handles their sensitive issues.

Deanna Hutson – Customer Service Representative.

Deanna joined Van Dyk Financial Services in January 2005. She was previously with New England Financial for 11 years where she specialized in the underwriting/processing of new Life, Disability and Long Term Care policies. Deanna has proved to be a fine addition to our staff, quickly becoming an expert in the area of Health Insurance as well.

She is available to assist you Monday – Friday from 9:00 am – 1:30 pm.
